Basketball is always played against each other by 2 teams of 5 players on each side, these players are free to substitute during stoppages. The basketball court is 28 meters long and 15 meters wide, the aim of the game is to throw the ball into the opponent's basket and prevent the opponent from getting control of the ball or reaching the basket. The game is played over 4 periods of 10 minutes net time, with 2 minutes breaks between periods and 15 minutes at half time. If there is a tie after regulation time, 5 minutes will be set. The winner is the team that scores more points against the opponent in the 4 x 10 minutes of net time.
